How We Started
Deeksha Travels began in 2025 with a simple frustration turned into a business idea: too many group trips — college batches, school excursions, corporate outings — were being squeezed into fixed packages that never quite fit. A group of 40 students doesn’t need the same plan as a group of 12 bank employees on an offsite. A family celebrating a milestone doesn’t need the same pace as a college batch on their annual trip. So we built our entire approach around that one idea — plan the trip around the group, not the other way around.
Since then, we’ve planned 60+ group trips, worked with 35+ schools and colleges, and handled 12 corporate and bank trips — all without a single fixed package in our catalog. 70% of our bookings come from repeat customers or referrals, which tells us the approach is working: when a trip is planned around a group instead of sold to them, people come back, and they bring others with them.
When you reach out to us, we don’t hand you a brochure. We ask questions first how many people, what’s the budget, how many days, what does the group actually want out of this trip. From there, we build a plan that fits those answers, not the other way around. That means two groups going to the same destination might get completely different itineraries, transport, and stays, because their situations are different too.
We work with a handpicked network of trusted vehicle partners rather than running our own fleet — this isn’t a compromise, it’s a deliberate choice. It means we can match the right vehicle to every group size, from a compact cab for a small family trip to a full coach for a college batch, without being limited to whatever we happen to own. Every driver and guide we partner with is chosen for the same thing: treating your group like family, not like a booking number.

Where We're Based?
We’re headquartered in Mangalore, and we serve groups across Mangalore and neighboring Kasaragod — two towns close enough to share routes, contacts, and a travel culture, but often overlooked by agencies that only think in state-sized territories. That local focus means we know the roads, the seasonal quirks of each destination, and the small details — like arranging a complimentary breakfast to start every trip off right — that make a plan feel personal instead of procedural.
